Wealthgate International Trading Pte Ltd is a Monetary Authority of Singapore-licensed payment institution — established to give businesses and individuals in Singapore access to cross-border payment services that are compliant, transparent, and built for how Singapore actually trades.
Too many businesses accept opaque fees, slow settlements, and impersonal service because they assume it is the only option. It is not. Wealthgate exists to offer a properly licensed, transparent alternative — one that treats regulatory compliance as a foundation, not a footnote.
Singapore sits at the centre of one of the world’s most active trade networks. Businesses incorporated here regularly move money to China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, and beyond. Yet for many, the payment infrastructure serving that trade has been unnecessarily expensive, opaque on fees, and slow to settle.
Wealthgate was established to address this directly. That licence imposes real obligations on us: capital requirements, audit standards, compliance frameworks, and MAS oversight. We chose to operate under that framework because we believe it is the right standard for a business handling other people’s money.
We are based at People’s Park Complex in Singapore, open every day, and staffed by people who can speak with clients face to face. In a market dominated by remote-first apps and offshore support teams, we think that still matters.
A Major Payment Institution licence is above the Standard Payment Institution tier. MPI holders are subject to higher capital requirements and stricter ongoing compliance obligations under the Payment Services Act 2019.
As a licensed payment institution, our obligations are not optional. These are the standards we hold ourselves to — and that our clients can hold us to as well.
We hold a Major Payment Institution licence (PS20200436) issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Our licence, capital, and compliance obligations are set and enforced by MAS under the Payment Services Act 2019.
We show clients the exchange rate, all fees, and the exact amount the recipient will receive — before any transfer is confirmed. No cost surprises after the instruction is sent.
Most transfers settle within 24 hours. We maintain dedicated payment channels for Singapore’s most important corridors, and pre-validate beneficiary accounts to reduce first-transfer rejections.
Corporate clients receive a named account manager — not a ticketing system. Individual clients can walk in to our People’s Park Complex office and speak with someone directly. No offshore call centres.
We specialise in the corridors Singapore businesses actually use: China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and beyond. We maintain current knowledge of compliance requirements on each route.
Every transfer is fully documented. Records are provided in formats suited to corporate accounts teams, finance controllers, and audit requirements — so compliance is handled, not assumed.
Wealthgate International Trading Pte Ltd is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a Major Payment Institution under the Payment Services Act 2019 (Licence No. PS20200436).
